HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR ME TO NOTICE BENEFITS?
In most cases you will notice IMMEDIATE relief after using your Muscle Hammer on an area for just a few minutes.
With chronic tight muscles, you may have to work the area 2-3 times a day for up to 2 weeks before more longer-term relief is achieved.
With tendonitis, you may have to work the area 2-3 times a day for 2-4 weeks before more longer-term relief is achieved.
When you can apply the MUSCLE HAMMER with firm pressure on any soft tissue without discomfort, then you know your muscle or tendon is healthy again.
DO I NEED TO BE WELL VERSED IN MASSAGE AND HUMAN PHYSIOLOGY TO USE THE MUSCLE HAMMER EFFECTIVELY?
ABSOLUTELY NOT. While in-depth knowledge of the human body is very helpful, it is not required to use your Muscle Hammer effectively.
USE THIS SIMPLE APPROACH:
- Use your Muscle Hammer on areas of your body you believe may be tight or causing discomfort.
- Stay away from your bones, head, upper neck, throat, or genitals, and do not use for more than 30 minutes at a time.
- When you apply it to an area and you experience pain or discomfort, that means the muscles in that area are tight, inflamed and not healthy.
- Simpy work any tight areas 2-3 times a day for a few minutes at a time until there is NO pain or discomfort. That is when you know your muscles are relaxed and healthy again.
I'M A BIG PERSON WITH THICK MUSCLE... WILL A MUSCLE HAMMER STILL WORK FOR ME?
YES. It should still be very effective. You may just have to use the more aggressive tips to get deeper into your muscles.
IS A MUSCLE HAMMER SAFE FOR CHILDREN?
NEVER ALLOW CHILDREN TO USE A MUSCLE HAMMER WITHOUT CLOSE ADULT SUPERVISION.
We do not recommend using a Muscle Hammer on kids under 10.
For kids under the age of 14, we only recommend using the “Accordian” tip on them. It is the least aggressive tip with the least impact force, so it will provide the safest experience for them. Do not allow kids of this age to use the Muscle Hammer on themselves.
For kids 15-18, we simply recommend CONSTANT adult supervision while using a Muscle Hammer, so they use it appropriately and don’t abuse it or cause damage to others with it. Teenagers are known to make poor decisions and could potentially hurt someone if not supervised.
IS A MUSCLE HAMMER SAFE FOR SENIORS?
Yes, if used responsibly and as directed and the senior in question is in good health and does not have any pre-existing medical conditions that would prevent them from getting deep tissue massage.
For ALL seniors, we recommend starting with the Accordian tip (the least aggressive tip), and then changing to a more aggressive tip if they need something more aggressive.

CAN THE MUSCLE HAMMER CAUSE BRUISING?
Yes it can.
A MUSCLE HAMMER is a very powerful percussion massager. It can cause bruising in the same way that Deep Tissue massage may cause bruising.
On very tight and inflamed areas, we always recommend you start with a non-aggressive tip and apply minimal pressure.
Over time as your muscles begin to relax, you can start using a more aggressive tip and apply more pressure.
Eventually, as your muscles become healthier, you will be able to use your Muscle Hammer with firm pressure without any bruising.
